What's the difference between a BRIE and a CIE?
The CIE (electrical installation certificate) is issued when an installation is new or has been modified. The BRIE (electrical installation inspection report) covers an existing installation, for example to reactivate a supply or change the account holder. If you're not sure which one you need, call us and we'll tell you in a minute.
When will I get the certificate?
That's our commitment: once the installation has been inspected and found compliant, we deliver the certificate instantly or within 24 hours. If something needs fixing, we explain it first and give you a quote.
What if my installation isn't up to code?
